Just had breakfast on the flight. Either I was very hungry or it tasted great. Probably both since normally I would have eaten a ton of food by now. They served a little omelet with salsa, a couple little cookies and a dinner bun.
Glad I stayed off the treadmill this AM otherwise I would probably feel the need to eat the child in the first row. Wait that’s Jack!!
I did hit the weight room today a 3:45. The dudes at the front desk let a brotha’ in a couple hours early. Very nice fitness center. Tons of machines and free weights. The machines were super smooth and had a very nice arc to them.
As you can tell I’m just blathering as I am pretty fricken bored. Listening to podcasts, playing games on my Touch and writin’ blogs.
I’m using a Bluetooth headset don’t tell anyone. Hope don’t crash the plane.

Well here we go! We are about an hour into the flight to Cancun. It’s about 75 degrees in the plane but I prefer that to being cold.
The intl terminal in ohare is crap. Not a single ATM or a place to get food. Luckily Laura is a good momma and she packed us some granola bars.
I had a talk with Jack this morning at 5 am about having a good attitude and he is totally following through on his promise. That alone makes a world of difference at the airport.
I find interesting how our culture caters to those who do not follow the rules. Explain you say, how about showing up at the airport two hours early and finding out that all the douchebags behind you in line get to jump in front because they showed up after their flight started boarding. 3/4 of the plane showed up late!!!!!!!
No worries though, I’m on vacation and I’m going to get a nice tan while snorkeling.
Can’t wait but I have to so I will.

After all the testing that I have done I have to admit that the best HTPC for me to use is the PS3. I have tried dozens of configurations for Vista Media Center and cannot seem to get it to all work at one time. The main issue is the ability to transcode the .mkv and m2ts files that I have my HD movies ripped into.
The savior for the PS3, PS3 Media Sever. This app rocks the universe. It is literally plug and play. It plays all the movies I have on my media file server with no complaining. It transcodes 1080p HD movies in full surround sound without a jitter. All you do is install the application and start it up. IT automatically finds the PS3 that is connected to your network. You then tell it where your files are kept (k:\Movie Library) and boom! All the movies are listed in the menu and you can play them as if they were stored on the PS3 HDD.
I think my quest is over for the perfect media server. Finally and thankfully. Now I have to find a new MP3 player. I have about2000 hours on the one I am using and it won’t stay alive much longer. itouch perhaps???
