First good news –
Jack, Laura, Keegan and I totally kicked ass today. To start off the day I hit the trails and logged a quick 10 km. When I got home Laura had some awesome whole grain, nutty oatmeally pancakes on the skillet. We devoured them and a fully fueled Laura headed out the door for a super long hike at Rock Cut Park.
Jack and I went bowling and had a nice little meal at the China Buffet. He was amazed at the awesomeness there. He was all over the fruit, and veggies. But let’s not forget the tater tots and chicken balls. After lunch we went to the dentist.
Now it’s about 3:00. We picked up Keegan and head to the Lazer Tag place to dominate each other. Then we head out for home and dinner.
At 7:00 it’s time for Jack’s hockey practice. He totally rocked it out. Skating backwards and everything. Good Stuff.
Now the crappy news –
Last week I spent some pretty good money on a new HT Receiver. But now my projector is freaking out on me. Normally this would bother me but I would always look on the bright side and think, “Ok cool time to upgrade.”. But I don’t really want to upgrade.
- It costs money.
- I really am happy with my projector.
- It’s a pain in the ass installing them. Mine is calibrated and aligned perfectly.
Alias I think I need to find a new one. There are a few places out there (brick and mortar) where I can go pick one up but I’m sure it won’t be that easy.
Do I get a new fully blown super good one with all the new bells and whistles
- 1080P resolution
- cost more
- amazing contrast
- amazing brightness
- harder to find at a store
Or do I get a less expensive (albeit better than my current one)
- 720p resolution
- costs less
- good contrast
- good brightness
- easy to find at a store.
I might just need a new bulb ($400) for my current one but if that doesn’t fix it I’m screwed out of $400. Plus the bulb is proving tough to find.
I’m sure you’ll see another boring techy update from me in a day or two explaining how I bought a new projector or something.
On a side note. I have stuff to sell -
